We were very pleased with the appearance and set up of the facility. It was very clean and sharp looking.
The bartenders were quick. The manager was great, she introduced herself when we arrived and was visible all evening. When she left at 11pm, she referred us to the lady who would take over her role.
Food: The food was delicious. We received lots of compliments. We appreciated how the late night buffet was packed up for us to take home as well.
We did not see Arlene the day of the event as she was on vacation, but we did any other time we visited the hall (all meetings, tastings etc)
Overall, we were very pleased with our whole experience at the OCC. The prices were competitive and the service was excellent. The night went off without a hitch. We would absolutely recommend your facility.

Staff provided great service, professional, and met all of our expectations. Chef Antonio and his team did a fantastic job.
Our sales coordinator, Arlene was amazing.
They upheld everything they promised, I have never been so relaxed heading into a large event. We dealt with a lot of vendors in this entire process and we, by far, enjoyed dealing with your team the most.
We have already started recommending you to everyone.

We had a terrific evening at the Oakville Conference Centre last Friday night! The venue looked beautiful and there were many positive comments about the food and that the staff were very professional and accommodating. It was terrific for us and our volunteers to have the event locally and having all three rooms allowed us plenty of room for all of our auction items, band and still have room to walk around to socialize.
Please send a thank you to Fabio, Steve, and John at your AV company, EAV Canada, for a great event on Friday night at the Oakville Conference Centre. The room looked fabulous with the lighting and the digital presentation went off without a hitch! It was great to work with Steve the day of the event.

What can I say... the wedding was SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark and I were completely blown away by the absolute beauty of the hall, the organization and timeliness of everything, and the quality of the food. The OCC staff are consummate professionals in every which way. There was not a single "hiccup" the entire night - we could not believe how smoothly and perfectly the evening went! Our guests continue to rave about the presentation and the amazing meal they were served. We are so grateful to have been in such good hands with the OCC!
You, Arlene, have been phenomenal to deal with all throughout the planning process. We appreciate everything that you have done for us - all of the countless emails and responses you sent, the advice and input, and of course, the patience and care you put into everything you do. I have had my dreams realized thanks to your great skill and knowledge and overall ability to execute a master plan! You truly are amazing at what you do and my hat goes off to you!!
If we could do it all over again, I wouldn't want anything changed! The day was magical and most memorable. It truly is what everyone says, "the happiest day of your life"!
We want to thank the OCC and every staff member for their wonderful service and efforts to make our wedding so special. Any opportunity that I get to recommend you to others, I most definitely will. We are most pleased and satisfied, and will spread the word for sure!

The place was clean and roomy enough. The size of the dance floor was a little small given Greek ethnic dancing involves large number of guests at one time. But it was manageable. Especially since the serving staff was moving across the floor without interrupting the dance flow which was greatly appreciated. We were very pleased with the facility overall.
The serving supervisor was fantastic at letting us know about any issues and listening to what we said but didn’t overburden us either. It was a great balance of letting us know but not taking us away from our party. The other staff serving meals and such were really quiet and you barely noticed them. We had some people tell us that the reception was nice and laid back and I think that since the wait staff wasn’t loud and you barely even noticed them, this smooth transition added to the nice and relaxed atmosphere.
The food was superb. I am not a red meat guy and the chateau briand was fantastic. I think the quality of the food far surpassed all weddings that I have been to.
I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone and everyone.

Just wanted to tell you how amazing staff were! Last night went perfectly, I could not have asked for more!
Mena was great to work with pre-event. I think I gave her my “final numbers” about 15 times and she kept accommodating, I really appreciate it!
Tracey was one of the nicest managers I think I’ve ever worked with at the Conference Centre & I want her to work every event that we have!!
Alex was the cutest waiter ever!! And probably accommodated 50+ additional requests for our table alone.

Thank you so much for all you did at the Centre to make our event with Louise Penny such a huge success! The problems with the sound system were dealt with quickly and efficiently and the refreshments were perfect!

The facility was perfect. The staff was very accommodating in ensuring the ballroom was set up according to our requirements. The location, easy access from the highway, and having hotels next door make it a great location for an event.
The service was quite wonderful. Our banquet manager (I cannot recall his name) was terrific – he kept us informed on how we were doing on timing, made sure Joe and I had everything we needed, and was fantastic in dealing with my food allergy and my MOH’s allergy. His service was exceptional.
I heard great things about the bartenders – the guests had a blast with them.
The servers were almost “invisible” I was not aware of a lot of hustle and bustle with trays. According to one guest, they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that they had a good time.
Food met expectations – the portions were generous and very tasty. We have had only positive comments from our guests.
Our sales coordinator came by before our ceremony and even helped make sure my train was straight. She really set the atmosphere for the quality of service and her “can do” attitude was very much appreciated.
The day went very smoothly and was even better than we had imagined. Our goal (other than getting married) was for it to be a good party for our friends and family. We certainly achieved that.
I would recommend the OCC, absolutely! We felt we got GREAT value for an affordable price.

Double thumbs up. The owners were extremely pleased and very happy with the food and the set-up. The gentleman who looked after us (Ehab) was spectacular. He was much better than the lady that looked after us last year. Around 5-6 times he checked on us to make sure everything was good. Anything minor he rectified in an instant and was always willing to help. We were extremely pleased with the food and had nothing but great reviews. Even the adults enjoyed the children’s food.
There was only one minor thing in that they seemed to run out of glasses but this was only minor.
They cleaned up quickly and quietly and we didn’t even know they were there at that point, as I said before a double thumbs up. Don’t know what you guys did differently but everything was way better than last year and we were made up with everything.
We would most certainly recommend you to anyone and will be looking to book again for next year’s event which could be both a kids and a separate adults party.
